Computer Aided Design

     A successful project starts with a good design. Whether you have an actual working model of your product or merely a concept in your head, Consolidated Plastics has the tools and staff available to prepare your part for tooling and then on to production. We will use a combination of 3-D C.A.D. (Tek Soft) and solid modeling (Solid Works) to transform your idea into electronic files ready for prototyping. Pre-production Sampling & Rapid Prototyping

Example Products      You may choose to prototype your product prior to final production tooling. With a good C.A.D. design, we can produce an array of pre-production samples including: machined plastic, open-pour castings, one cavity pull-ahead of multi-cavity mold, and rapid prototyping ( fuse deposition modeling ).


Production Tooling

Example Products      Consolidated Plastics has an exceptional Tooling department capable of building and maintaining practically any small to medium sized ( 50-600T ) mold. Our shop utilizes talented toolmakers and apprentices using the best equipment available. We are equipped with CNC milling, surface grinding, sinker E.D.M., and all the support equipment needed to build the highest quality tooling. Overseas tooling is also available with professional management from start to finish.
